While waiting for the monk to respond, Dornath looked at the new arrival.
"Yes, I'd like to know where your second is too. I was told that there would be two. But I only see one. Are you sure that your guild has enough members to spare for this journey?" <Are you sure that it's a good idea to make the warrior angry?> Granite was acting more and more like a conscience today. <Yes, I'm sure. I use curses, if she tries to attack me, she'll be dead after that first few blows.> Dornath sighed.
"Well, we can't wait forever Merrin, if your guy doesn't show up soon, we might have to leave without him.

(OOC: I should mention, Dornath is a bit of an ass sometimes. And hopefully, you realize that the words in the triangles are between me and Granite. Just so no-one is confused.)

(OOC: I think I didn't read Ristaron's requirements properly, if things had worked out I should have been the other associate guild member... but now I have said it, I am, like Dornath, a member of Arial's guild. Note: Aethrilon does not have a surname, or at least he forgot what it was.)

Aethrilon had just been going into meditation mode when a necromancer with a minion walking alongside him approached the bench.

“Hello, I’m Dornath Fallacy, the necromancer and resident Curses master in the guild. This is Granite, my minion. Who are you?”

Aethrilon examined the necromancer with his beady eyes for a moment, then replied. "My name is Aethrilon. I am a blessed monk of Dwayna, and have served in this guild for just over a month. Unfortunately, I have not got to know many of the other members yet. Pleased to meet you, Dornath."

As he finished his eyes flickered to the minion. Aethrilon had never liked minions, for they were fiends of Grenth and so they had appeared evil in every scripture of Dwayna he had read that included them.

Merrin set her gaze on the Necromancer that had just insulted her. It was a good thing that she heard worse most nights of the year in the seedy taverns around the city, still Merrin placed his well being on the trip at the lower end of the party. Returning her attention to Guyana, Merrin replied as curtly as Guyana had. "The other member of the guild is to meet us at the Gates to the docks after securing a ship to Kryta. The association has paid for this part of our journey to Kryta so save your gold, however after that we shall have to survive on our own resources."

Merrin was glad she didn't have to chip into the ship, transport lately had become terribly expensive, having only around ten gold on her at any one time, The amount always seemed to stay the same however, the games of chance she indulged in providing a small income for her. Reachin behind her Merrin unstrapped a small package that unrolled to have two capes in a quartered Yellow and dark red with a Siver Griffon in the middle. She handed one each to the two males before looking at Guyana, they were one cape short. Merrin solved the problem quidkly, unclasping her own cape, she handed it to the short elementalist before removing a paulderon - the guild symbol emblazoned on it - from her pack and fitting it to her left shoulder. "My friends," the word friend straining as her Gaze settled on Dornath, "Welcome to Griffons Exodus. We can leave for the docks when were ready."

Giving the cape a sidelong glance, Arial grasped either side of the collar and flung it around her shoulders, clasping the broach around her neck when the garment was properly adjusted. Part of her wanted to rip it off the moment the clasp was closed. She had been a proud member of the Ivory Circle for a number of years, and had become fiercely loyal to it.

Perhaps it was the realization of her loyalty that brought the Elementalist's violent thoughts to an abrupt end. As far as she could remember, her own advancement had been the most important thing to her. While she tried her best to keep whatever friends she managed to make, Arial had never been one to stick to something that didn't provide her the best she could get.
But the Ivory Circle has given you the best you can get, she thought to herself. Arial's mind began to wander on to all the things she had helped the guild achieve, and how she had earned all she had when she remembered why they were there, standing around under the hot Orrian sun.
"The docks, you say?" she confirmed, "well then, let's go."

OOC: Symeon, the way you wrote your post made it seem as if Arial had asked Aethrilon to to travel with her - and he had accepted. The associate guild members to go with Arial were chosen by the associate guild (or, as it has been revealed to be called: Griffons Exodus), and not by Arial.
I apologize if I got confused, but as you have rectified the issue I don't think it's worth going into further detail.

Aethrilon took the cape, and weighed it in his arms, thinking. This was all very confusing for him, but he guessed he would find out where they were going and what the purpose of the adventure was soon enough.

Clasping the cape over his shoulders, he turned to Merrin and nodded. "I'm ready when you are. Lead the way to the docks."

The monk adjusted the strap of his bag around his neck and looked up at the towering statue of Dwayna above the temple that dominated the skyline of Boarbeen. He wondered how long it would be before he returned to that place. Putting his hands together in prayer, he vowed that he would stay loyal to Dwayna, praying to her and meditating with her. His blessed power would always remain within him, for the work he had done.

OOC: alright then, I'll post.

IC:

The Elementalist's curt directions needed no further reitterance, and the quartet immediately set off towards the docks. At least a head shorter than most of the people on the street, Arial settled in behind one of the others so she wouldn't have to fight the current of people.

As they made their way North to the coast and the harbour, the Elementalist came to realize the luxuries she had enjoyed the last few months. She had gotten into the habbit of using her guild's extensive underground network almost exclusively, only using the surface streets to arrive at destinations not connected by the complex basement that reached all corners of the district. Now, forced to push her way through an endless crowd, Arial's temper began to bottle.
Looking up, she searched for any landmarks on the skyline that would hint that they were getting close.
